It's official: the people of Brussels have Penneys fever
THREE WEEKS AGO, Penneys opened its first store in the Brussels.
At the time, the queues were properly gigantic and required policing.
But that’s to be expected when a store opens, right?
Three weeks on and it doesn’t look as though Primark fever has abated.
In fact, it may have just gotten worse.

IMAGINE QUEUING TO BUY A VOUCHER AND KNOWING THAT YOU’LL HAVE TO QUEUE AGAIN WHEN YOU WANT TO SPEND IT.
It evens ranks among the best moments of 2014 for some Belgians.

Primark, which operates as Penneys in Ireland, currently has over 250 stores across UK, Ireland and Europe.
In October, it announced plans to expand and open new stores in the United States in 2015.
In the meantime, we hope that the love affair between Brussels and Penneys never ends.
